Cisco Systems (1994 - 2006)
- Created, managed, maintained, and supported the software used by all of Cisco
Systems to produce manufacturing output from Printed Circuit Board designs on
the Cadence Allegro CAD system.
- Developed an automated web based Engineering project tracking tool. This system
automatically updated the on line project database as the designer worked. It
was used to run review meetings, track changes, and create status reports
written in Microsoft .xls format.
- Worked in a strong team environment with a variety of Engineering disciplines
and Manufacturing centers to develop the Manufacturing Output Standard for all
of Cisco Systems.
- Managed a team of Software Engineers as Project Manager on several Engineering
to Manufacturing web interface applications.
- Trained users on the use of the software I created, as well as taught classes
on the UNIX operating system, as well as UNIX shell and PERL programming.
- Design of highly complex and technologically advanced Printed Circuit boards
for use in high speed internet routers and switches
- Olivetti ATC (1984 - 1994)
- Software development using C-shell, C, and C++ programming languages in a
UNIX environment.
- Worked as part of a multi-discipline team to develop Olivetti's first
